Introducing Rollercoaster.io

Opera released Coast browser two weeks ago ( see the topic on Habré ). During this time, we walked through the web in a new browser on our Aipad and noticed that there are still very few sites prepared for tablet devices. Of course, with the help of Coast you can watch any sites, even completely not ready for the mobile web - but you can always do better. Therefore, we decided to make a place where we will show the most successful, interesting and tablet-ready sites that we can recommend as an example. And here is the result, meet: Rollercoaster.io .

We started with a review of five sites, but the idea is to grow it into a large collection of sites that can be conveniently flipped using the navigation arrows on the sides or simply using gestures.

We are already considering many sites to include in the catalog in the coming weeks and months, but we will also be happy to receive your help. Simply forknight our operasoftware / rollercoaster repository on Github and follow the instructions in the Readme. The site works on Jekyll , so no tricks will be needed: put the markaun-file with the picture in the right folder and everything will be ready - all that remains is to make a pull-quest.

But even if this is too difficult , let ODevRel_ru know which sites, in your opinion, deserve attention.

ps: By the way, the first Coast update has arrived in the App Store. Fixed bugs, improved integration with iOS 7, details in the blog Coast .
