NLPub was presented here - a directory of linguistic solutions for Russian language processing.
We continue to pursue non-profit goals. Since that time I have heard many warm words, remarks, wishes and thanks for the work on the catalog and the ecosystem. I sincerely admire people's interest in the NLPub: we managed to catch the trend, make a good product, and present it to the appropriate audience. This in itself is a tremendous value.
The most frequent request I hear about is a request to make some specialized question and answer service on the basis of the NLPub. A service where people can ask something about natural language processing and get an answer from competent specialists working in this area.

It would be incorrect to ignore the requests and wishes of people who are working to make computing technology understand our language and speech. We present
NLPub Q & A - Russian-language question and answer service about computational linguistics.
Technically, the service runs on a nice
Discourse engine built on Ruby on Rails. It supports authentication with Google, Facebook, Yahoo !,
Mozilla Persona , and with the traditional “email - password” pair.
Registration is required to write questions and answers. Of course, viewing all data is possible without registration - as anonymously as PRISM and
SORM programs allow :)
We are currently unable to integrate MediaWiki profiles with Discourse profiles. Today we have no ideas for solving this problem. It would be interesting to discuss this possibility.
Any interest in applied linguistics? Would you like to take part in the popularization and development of this direction in Russia? You are welcome! We have tasks and problems that cannot be solved by a narrow circle of activists. Just tell us your wish and everything will be fine.
