Quasar IV: Ninja's “Chiffon” Who Is Too Good to Be True

Have you heard of QSAlpha? Here I am not. And they, as it turns out, have been working for 3 years to create a system of total information protection for smartphones, called Quatrix.
And so, just recently, they launched a project on Indiegogo, with a bold approach: to collect $ 3,200,000 in 30 days to produce their own Quasar IV smartphone, or, as they call it themselves, a "chiffone".

What is meant by this? Whatever you do with a smartphone: call, dial an SMS, send an e-mail or just make a note on the calendar - everything will be encrypted using the ECC P-192 algorithm, which allows you to use up to 10 ^ 77 pairs of public and private keys . Private keys are generated on the system side in the Key Management Center. In addition, a completely new digital identification system is proposed, which will allow offline authentication to be performed without being connected to any server using a proprietary encryption chip of its own design.

To integrate all this into a smartphone, they are going to not just release an application for Android, but to create on their basis their own QuaOS operating system, which will include all the services provided, including QuaMail — a postal system, QuaCloud — a secure cloud-based data storage, and even their own QuaStore application store, with their own QuaCoin currency, which will be similar to similar cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc.

Thus, having released a smartphone, they are going to launch their own ultra-secure network.

In addition, the smartphone is positioned for home 3D and augmented reality, it has two 13-megapixel cameras located at a distance close to the distance between the pupils of the human eye. Also, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera on the front panel and a variety of sensors: lighting, acceleration, temperature, humidity, barometer, gyroscope and electronic compass.

- 64 Gb - $ 495, only 950 pieces
- 64 Gb - $ 595
- 128 Gb - $ 665
- 128 Gb Limited Edition - $ 965, only 200 pieces, a case with special metal processing and a ninja-engraving (such as is present on the video)

All prices include free worldwide shipping, a T-shirt and QuaCoins in the same amount as the premium.

But, despite the great plans, so far the idea seems far from reality. For the first 3 days, the project did not create the proper “wow” effect, and collected a little more than 1% of the required amount. Perhaps this is to blame for bad PR and poor preparation for launch. And the choice of the crowdfunding platform is not very good, on Indiegogo there is no way to choose a contribution model where the money will be written off upon successful completion of the company. Instead, the model is available Fixed Funding - where the money is written off immediately, while not at the disposal of the organizer of the company, and in case of failure of the project - from the amount returned to the card retained 3% of bank charges. So there is a prospect to remain without a minimum of $ 500 per month, and yes even give the banks $ 15.
