Roskomnadzor entered Facebook in the registry of banned sites
Unbelievable, but true: the social networking site Facebook today was entered in the register of prohibited sites and can be blocked if the company does not correct the violation within three days. This was reported by ITAR-TASS representative Roskomnadzor Vladimir Pikov.
He clarified that about 10 applications were received with the requirement to include Facebook site in the unified register of prohibited sites, but most of them were rejected. “Three applications went to the examination, including those not related to the advertising of smoking mixtures. For two of them, Facebook has already eliminated violations, and for the third, a link is included in the registry. We have already sent a notification to the hosting providers. Facebook has three days to remove the violation, so as not to be blocked in Russia, ”Peaks explained. He did not specify what exactly Facebook violation did not eliminate.
