The second annual mobile competition Pwn2Own in the framework of the Zero Day Initiative will be held at the PacSec Applied Security Conference in Tokyo, 13 and 14 November. The prize fund is more than 300,000 dollars.

Mobile Pwn2Own competition is a search for vulnerabilities and hacking opportunities in mobile devices. This year it is sponsored by the Android Security Team and the BlackBerry.

A participant who hacked a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB or NFC will receive $ 50,000 (in each category there is only one prize and receives it
first , having received full access to the device).
Anyone who can do this through a mobile browser, an application or parts of the operating system itself - $ 40,000 (the prize is increased to $ 50,000 if it is Chrome running on Nexus 4 or Galaxy S4).
$ 70,000 for an SMS, MMS or CMAS exploit.
Well, $ 100,000 for hacking through a cellular network (baseband).
