For a long time he worked for the usual 17th Sumsung SynsMaster. I encountered many problems: it is impossible to test a site at high resolution, when working in Photoshop you need to constantly move tools, constantly switching between browsers, HomeSite and Photoshop (at least). All this made the work very difficult and time consuming. And some things in such conditions could not be done at all. I realized you need to change something!
I thought for a long time which monitor to buy and accidentally stumbled upon an article where the author described the convenience of working with two monitors. Yes, this is what you need! Now I have 2 professional monitors Dell 19 'and HP 20'.
Who, if not the coder, needs 2 monitors when working?
Many web designers try to save time on the project, use pre-made templates, pieces of code and scripts. They develop blind typing techniques, are afraid to take breaks in work in order to finish it faster. But it was rarely thought that the productivity and quality of the work of the coder can be significantly increased by increasing the work area. What does this give?
First, you can place a Photoshop window on one monitor, and write code on the other and test the page in browsers. At the same time, you can press Alt + Tab less. And if the layout page is large and Photoshop tools make it difficult to view it at a scale of 100%, you can transfer them to another monitor.
Secondly, you can test the behavior of elements in rubber sites with a very high resolution, you can stretch the browser window to 2 monitors. Of course, it is best to do max-width so that everything does not creep away, but when the customer does not want this, 2 monitors will come to our aid.
thirdly, it helps to visually test the conformity of our creation to the designer’s idea by downloading a layout and a layout simultaneously.
Well, in the end, you can download TV-tuner in a small window on one of the monitors and watch the news out of the corner of your eye, because often fanatics are so immersed in their world that they don’t know what is happening in real life :)

In general, my advice to you, layout designers, work with 2 monitors, as I do, and you will get a lot of time saved, enjoy your work and thanks from the customer for professional layout.
