The first of the approved initiatives from the Russian Public Initiative website was rejected by the working group of the Russian government.

Judging by the comments left the day before yesterday to the blog “The Expert Council is considering the first public initiative that collected 100,000 signatures on the ROI ”, not everyone was able to fully understand the text translation of the meeting in which direction the conclusions of the government working group were inclined. The photocopy of the protocol decision also did not clarify the case too much, since it only charged the responsible secretary (naming his name, Rapoport ) to prepare both the expert opinion and the decision of the expert working group.

Fortunately, today (September 12), the article “ Under the public blessing the state and society understand different things ” was published on the Vedomosti website (with the subtitle “Corruption and reliance on populism paralyze even the government’s potentially winning initiatives”), based on the article “Aggressive paralysis ”From today's newspaper Vedomosti, No. 167 (3429), and from this article it became known to the reader’s public that the initiative, although it gained 100,000 votes of registered voters, was rejected at the consideration stage (and therefore never come, for example, to the State Duma).

The author of the initiative (Alexei Anatolyevich Navalny) was, of course, not happy with this outcome. His reaction was expressed in the blog post “ Like to laugh, and offend, and to embitter at once 100 000 people ” in LiveJournal.
