I want to describe the eight most important extensions (or plug-ins) for
the Mozilla Firefox browser to Habrachelovek.
These extensions do a good job. They help to organize it, reduce the time spent on work and ... but what can I say, read for yourself and decide what suits you and how it can be useful for you.
This note has already been published yesterday on the Blog Shooter , now I suggest to familiarize it with habrachelovekam.Yes, I almost forgot: the expansion will go in the reverse order. Those. the most important are at the end!
8. IE Tab .
IE Tab is an extension that
allows you to browse the web in Internet Explorer without having to open a separate window of this program. Do it
straight from Mozilla Firefox .
We all know that some pages in Internet Explorer do not appear as in other browsers. And the first use of this extension: view how your site is displayed in internet explorer (if you do not use it all the time). And, as mentioned above:
you don’t need to launch explorer separately . Just open a new tab.
But that is not all. It is possible to grind some addresses under the opening "only in IE". Windows Update, for example, or Webmoney. And
you can and client bank, if your bank loves only IE! . All these addresses will be opened using IE Tab.
7. Delicious Bookmarks .
Delicious Bookmarks - An extension that allows you to work with online bookmarks. With the bookmark service del.icio.us. How many times have described the benefits of this method of bookmarks, but I still repeat.
This service (and, accordingly, this extension) allows you to work with bookmarks from anywhere in the world, to have access to the "selected site" on any computer. All you need is an Internet connection.
Bookmarks are sorted by tags (words that briefly describe a page). These are the so-called “folders” where your links are stored. and each link can simultaneously be in different “folders”, depending on your wishes and on the characteristics of the page itself.
To add a page to your favorites, you need to
click on one key ! To view all your bookmarks and search for them, you just need to click a couple of buttons.
I repeat, even
if your computer broke down or you are simply not at your computer, the extension allows you to
get access to the necessary sites that you noted earlier anyway.

6. Web Developer .
Another well-known extension. perhaps the first thing that web developers set themselves by installing firefox. An extension with the broadest functionality and a set of utilities. Your tools for working with web pages will increase many times with this extension.
Cookies You can change, explore, delete and even manually add cookies.
The extension allows you to easily change the display pages, disable, enable cache. And all this on the fly. Want to see all uploaded photos on this page? You are welcome! How is the site displayed at a lower resolution than yours? Please look! Visually see web page layout blocks? Nothing is easier!
An important extension that, as I already wrote, multiplies your toolkit. And do not forget, you will not leave firefox - your internet browser.
5. iMacros .
iMacros is an add-on module that allows you to replace them with one many other applications.
This extension can be used to
automate the filling of forms , which allows one time, for example, to
register on several sites using a single master password. Or
extract data from a website and export it to CSV files.
Many developers also use iMacros functionality to run and
test their websites and web applications .
4. ColorZilla
ColorZilla is a
simple but brilliant tool for developers .
ColorZilla sets the eyedropper icon on the left side of the status bar. When you click on it, you get a cursor in the form of a cross (or a sight - as you like). And if you move the cursor around the page (aim), the color value that falls under the cursor (color under the gun) will be shown in the status bar (for example, R: 255, G: 255, B: 255 or # FFFFFF).
3. MeasureIt
MeasureIt is a simple but very convenient extension. By installing it, you also get a button on the left side of the status bar of your browser. If you click on it, you will also get a cursor in the form of a sight (two sticks at a right angle). So you can get confused. However, the functions of our second “sight” are completely different.
By moving the cursor around the page, you will receive data on the width and height of the blocks of which it consists
Now you will accurately and easily and very quickly determine: what is the width of the right block, the header, what is the height of the page “footer”, etc.
2. FireFTP .
FireFTP is an extension that
turns your browser into a full-featured ftp client . Opens in a separate tab and divides the window in half for more convenient work with files and for their convenient transfer from your local disk to the ftp server or vice versa.
This FTP client is easy to use and worth trying, at least for your reference (what if it replaces your main ftp client that you use all the time?)
But it also has significant drawbacks: the extension still does not support SFTP or SSH. However, do not forget, we do not go beyond the limits of our Internet browser.
1. Firebug.
Firebug is probably the most important web development tool. This
extension allows you to view and edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the desired web pages and, most importantly,
view the changes on the fly .
After installing the extension, an icon will appear on the right side of the status bar, which will inform you about errors on web pages. When you click on the icon, a window opens in which the lines in which the error is found are displayed. This is a
very easy way to track errors on web pages.
In Inspect mode, move your mouse over the desired page elements, and Firebug will display all the code that makes up the page element under your cursor. You can also direct areas of code. In this case, the page element will already be highlighted in color. This feature is much better than viewing the code using the “show page source code” feature and the like offered by most browsers.
A source.Maybe there are alternative plugins that you use and they have similar functions? It would be interesting to get your opinion.
