The appearance of news in the general blog

I do not use RSS for habr. I like to come here just like that and check for updates in the main branch of the blog. Yesterday I noticed that old topics, which with the passage of time are plus and fall into the main tape, remain in the tail of the tape, i.e. nobody will see them anymore. Wouldn't it be logical to throw any new-popular topic into the head of the tape so that everyone can see it?
