Google Forms has been seriously updated: progress bars, validation, Youtube video

Google Drive has a significant update to the Google Forms tool.

A progress bar was added to the user controls illustrating the form filling process: a typical scenario is approximately as follows - the form consists of a large number of controls, by entering data into which or clicking on the checkboxes, the user sees a dynamically updated indicator showing the degree of its filling. Validation is available for text fields and, in addition to those rules that are visible in the screenshot, may include checking for the maximum number of characters, filtering numbers, postcodes and other things. In addition, regular expressions can be used for validation.

It is also now possible to embed videos from YouTube into forms, so that you can get interactive pages suitable for knowledge testing, in approximately the following way:
