Today, on September 8, the Summer School on High Performance Computing and its Applications to the Problems of Modern Biology and Medicine was opened at the Kazan site
of Innopolis University .

The co-organizer of the event was the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Fiztech).

Alexander Tormasov, the Rector of Innopolis University, presented to the students of the school a large-scale construction project of Innopolis and the University as its think tank. He also spoke about how at this stage a partnership with foreign universities is being implemented, in particular, about a
joint master's program with Carnegie Mellon University

Professor Alexey Lobanov (MIPT) as the founder spoke about the school and its traditions. This year, the summer school acquired a federal scale, students came to Kazan from all over Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Yoshkar-Ola - this is not a complete list of the project’s geography.
