HEX - $ 49 Opensource Quadcopter

Kickstarter has been collecting money for two weeks to start production of a kopter with a price of $ 49 and managed with a smartphone.

An international group of developers decided to make their micromultikopter, but unlike Crazyflie , the path was already trodden by Parrot - all control is done from a smartphone. But in this case, Bluetooth 4.0 is used.



The version with 4 propellers can carry 12 grams, while the version with 6 propellers can carry 30 grams of payload. This is enough to raise a WiFi camera for FPV flights for 5-7 minutes.

At the moment, collected almost 250 thousand dollars and in stock a little more than a month. In addition, the team is supported by the venture capital fund HAXLR8R . Production will begin in November, and distribution in December.
