Second Python meetup: what to expect from PEP and is it worth shooting yourself in the leg?
Having inspired by a large number of listeners of the June mitap, we decided to hold it every month. As a result - the second meeting of the "Pitonschiki" on Friday, July 26. This time we (over 100 participants!) Walked through the most popular Python libraries, rummaged through the guides of the interpreter, and also sorted out the creation of classes and objects. All the details in the must-see video.
The report provided a brief overview of several standard Python libraries that are not very popular with most programmers, and also provides examples of the practical use of their data capabilities.
With all the conventionality of object-oriented programming, a number of its aspects remain unclear for developers. The report was devoted to the details of creating classes and objects in Python, multiple inheritance and order resolution methods, as well as the features of metaprogramming.
A brief report on the features of the framework: the internal components of the project and the associated system of dependencies. Demonstration of the simplicity and efficiency of solving routine tasks with specific examples (working with MongoEngine, SQLAlchemy databases, managing external tasks, working with forms, creating administrative modules).
As during the first Python meetup, everything went in a light atmosphere: jokes, burgers, relax. At the meeting they decided to hold meetings every last Friday of the month in the center of Minsk.
By the way, the video + report of the August meeting is just around the corner! And if you are from Minsk or you will be passing through the capital of the Republic of Belarus on the last Friday of the month - subscribe to our community at FB, where announcements of future meetings are posted.
