Fire at Hynix factory in China

I want to tell about the past that happened yesterday in China at the plant of one of the largest memory manufacturers in the world, Hynix.
The fire occurred due to an explosion of chemicals at the plant, the fire covered two parts of the plant.
After some time, the largest suppliers of memory in the world have suspended deliveries. Now we are talking about the fact that the plant may lose half of its production capacity, which will affect the global market as a loss of 15% of production.
The fact is that Hynix produces not less than 30% of the global production of DRAM and NAND, is the largest supplier of such memory as GDDR5 for high-performance video cards.
So we are waiting for an increase in prices for electronics, something a situation similar to the effects of flooding in Thailand, when prices for hard drives have risen sharply.
Most likely, the situation with price increases and supply restrictions will not last for a long time, but manufacturers can take advantage of it in order to practically increase the prices for memory.
