The
WordPress blogger platform has increased the amount of free space for storing files immediately sixty times: from 50 MB to 3 GB. Traffic is not charged at all.
Matt Mullenweg, the lead WordPress developer,
says with pride that the same amount of hosting from your nearest competitor, Typepad, will cost you at least $ 300 a year, and Blogger will not produce more than 1 GB at all.
According to Matt, WordPress is committed to making the same blogging revolution on the blog hosting market as Gmail did in the free email market. In other words, they want to bring blog hosting to a new level. The free limit was increased 60 times due to the switch to Amazon S3 distributed hosting.

Along with the free, increased volumes of paid upgrades. Those who previously paid for 1 GB will now receive an additional 5 GB for free. A paid upgrade is still required to allow uploading of certain file types to the hosting (MP3, AVI, etc.).
