Very slim and flexible wireless keyboard

Founded by people from Cambridge, CSR is going to show off a prototype of its development at the IFA 2013 exhibition - a really thin flexible wireless keyboard. Its thickness is declared by the creators of the following - 0.49 mm.

These unusually thin gadget sizes were made possible by using two other tools. The core of the keyboard's electronic logic was a board printed using conductor inkjet technology (Conductive Inkjet Technology), which is coated with a special silicone produced by Atmel , supporting the transfer of multi-touch touches. The keyboard is connected to the gadget using Bluetooth-based original, ultra-economical CSR Bluetooth Smart technology.

As a result, the keyboard turns out capable of making significant bends (as seen in the video below) and provides communication with the device connected to it with a delay of about 12 ms. Considering that the keyboard is actually “printed”, then its dimensions can be adjusted to any dimensions corresponding to the device to which it is planned to be connected. Compatibility is also declared with all devices that support Bluetooth.

An additional feature (in addition to multi-touch) is the spectacular ability to work with the stylus, providing, for example, not only drawing, but also the possibility of handwriting input. The cost of development has not yet been announced.
