Yes, the State Duma continues to pass laws and consider bills, the purpose of which is to actively fight against “pirates” and those who sympathize with “pirates”. So, the other day, the State Duma Committee on Constitutional Legislation proposed that the lower house adopt a law on monetary fines for providers that do not comply with the requirements to block pirated resources. In this case, the penalties are very, very rather big.
The maximum amount of the fine will be (if the bill is passed) 1,000,000 rubles. At the same time, the minimum amount of the fine is 300,000 rubles, which is also a lot, especially for small and medium-sized providers. All of the above applies to legal entities, and this is not all. The proposed bill provides for fines for individuals, including officials. For the "people" provides fines from 5 to 50 thousand rubles. What exactly a person should or should not do to receive a fine is not entirely clear.
By the way, the bill proposed by the notorious director Stanislav Govorukhin, as well as the deputy Leonid Levin. The bill can still be amended, including the size of fines, but it is unlikely that something will change drastically. It is necessary to think that if the changes happen, it is clearly not in favor of the “pirates” and their associates.

The bill, if adopted by the State Duma, will clearly become the next “anti-piracy” incentive for providers. Perhaps the leadership of many telecommunications companies is not in accordance with the law, but it is unlikely anyone will suffer losses, and very significant ones, due to non-compliance with the requirements of the law.
