The prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg has blocked the site for bribing a moderator with virtual currency!
Today I came across an article from Ekho Moskvy, which states that the prosecutor's office of the Frunzensky district of St. Petersburg appealed to the Krasnogvardeysky court with a claim against 23 Internet service providers with a request to restrict access to sites on which information is posted give a bribe. What was my surprise when I discovered one of my projects in the list. The first thing that came to mind was that one of the users posted a blog / post / comment that could really be a violation. Everything turned out to be much more complicated.
The reason for blocking was the discussion by users of the site on the forum of the opportunity to pay off from the “bans” of the site’s virtual currency - “bonuses”. Apparently, henceforth, site moderators are equated with officials, the virtual currency of the site - to material values, and a ban for violations - to criminal liability?
Further more interesting. 23 local St. Petersburg Internet providers were found guilty of distributing illegal content, and the court entrusted them with payment of the state duty. ')
