Until now, developers have not bothered with the official firmware for Pebble Watch, which would support Russian letters for reading SMS, email and other notifications. Some craftsmen collect custom firmware, adding Russian letters to them, which makes the use of watches much more convenient and enjoyable.

Actually, since writing the first article I didn’t sew my Pebble Watch with a new version of the firmware, because, due to the natural breakdown, I threw a whistle blue tooth on usb and bit my elbows. On the netbook, from the very first day of our acquaintance, ubunt settled down with him (I know about the python option, but it was too lazy to bother). I came across a laptop with a Windows and built-in blue tooth, but at that time a much more exciting experience took away all my free time and attention. So here I am not sewn. And now, as usual, at night looking like a real owl, I realized that there is a way to flash the Pebble Watch with custom firmware with Russian letters without a computer in general

So, she, too, pissed me off :-) All we need is to shove the firmware file in any way into a mobile device, in my case iPhone 4s (without jailbreak). The first thing that came to mind is the dropbox

Accordingly, open the Dropbox client on the iPhone, select the downloaded firmware file.


We are waiting for the firmware file to load and open the menu with the choice of the application to open this file.
