Mail.ru has launched its cloud data storage, writes Lenta.ru. The service called “Cloud Mail.ru” is now in beta mode, and the first users are offered up to one hundred gigabytes of space.

In the "Cloud" you can store files that are synchronized between all devices of the user. In addition to the web version , Mail.ru has released programs for working with the service for Windows and OS X and mobile applications for Android and iOS.

Photos taken on a smartphone can be automatically downloaded to the file storage. In addition, in the cloud, you can store files sent by mail as attachments.

To start working with the service, you need to leave a request on the Clouds website and wait for the invitation letter. This requires a Mail.ru account. As follows from the screenshot below, at the start, the user receives 10 GB, which can be gradually increased to one hundred.



For comparison, users of Yandex.Disk can get 10 GB for free, and 100 GB costs 150 rubles per month. In Google Drive, 15 GB is available for free, an increase of up to 100 GB costs $ 5 per month. Dropbox gives at the start of 2 GB with the possibility of expansion to 18 GB, and 100 GB costs $ 10 per month.
