A step away from v12: 3CX Phone System 12 Release Candidate released
We are pleased to announce the release of the Release Candidate version for 3CX Phone System Version 12 (build 31763). Version 12 is the most functional and stable software PBX to date, with completely new multi-platform clients for Windows, Android and iPhone.
Compared to the Beta version, the ability to schedule conferences has been added to the v12 release candidate and the 3CXPhone for Windows client has been improved. In addition, the Postgres database version has been updated. Below is a brief description of the features:
New features and changes in 3CXPhone for Windows
New
- Intercept a call by right-clicking in the presence window in the group.
—Added several operations with calls to the section Active Calls Parking, Conference, Call Transfer and others.
—The sections Active Queue Calls and Call Operations in the Queue are added.
—The client can download as much as CRM plug-ins, which is useful for CRM developers.
- Sort by Subscribers, First Name / Last Name or Last Name / First Name in the Active Calls section.
—Displaying IVR calls in the Presence window.
—Installation of the client supports roaming profiles.
—Run external application on incoming call. You can use 2% CallerNumber% variables that display the caller's number and the% CallerDisplayName% display name.
—Add Remote Presence group.
—Calls in the Queues are now visible in the horse of the Presence, and the agents and their status and other information are also visible.
—Ability to quickly create a conference from an active call.
—Personal address book is attached to subscribers.
—3CX TAPI Driver - note: it works only with Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013. 3CXTAPI is included in the 3CX CRM module and can be downloaded here.

—The client no longer constantly displays the status “Cannot connect to the server” when the connection is lost.
—Caller ID in with active calls from 3CX to another 3CX is now displayed correctly.

- Optimized search in the Presence window.
—The Call History section now displays the time according to the Windows regional settings.
- Improved reconnect procedure with 3CX.
—The message displaying multiple IP registrations has been removed. If one of the devices operates in CTI mode, then it is a priority.
—Improved client interface, the extra windows in the menu were removed.

Installing 3CX Phone System 12 Release Candidate
If you already have 3CX Phone System 12 Beta installed and the 3CXPhone 12 Windows client, you must remove them before installing the Release Candidates of v12 and 3CXPhone for Windows.
