Microsoft head resigns

Today, August 23, Microsoft announced that its long-term executive director Steve Ballmer decided to leave the company.

He will retire within 12 months. During this time, he will continue to hold the post of CEO, and will also search for a successor, the technology giant said.
')
From Ballmer’s statement: “One couldn’t think of a better time for transformation, but now it’s come. We approached a new strategy and a new organization, and we have an amazing team of leaders. My decision came at the junction of the company's transition to the business of devices and services. We need a CEO who can work for the long term in this direction. ”

Ps. For quite a long time many of them “pressed” on Ballmer so that he would leave, due to the poor performance of his company and an unsuccessful development strategy. Apparently could not resist, leaves. The right move.

Pps. Somewhat strangely, some responded to my remark regarding Ballmer’s resignation, which is also supported by world financial market experts and the company's board of directors. I see that I should add arguments to my statement, so that my comment does not seem empty to the public:
Steve Ballmer was declared the worst CEO of America.
Former Microsoft Vice President Joachim Kempin believes that Steve Ballmer should leave the post of CEO.
The fact that Microsoft is going through hard times has long been nothing new.
They began to say that the list of failures of the company will soon be included in the Guinness Book of Records.
David Einhorn - President of the hedge fund Greenlight Capital once said that Microsoft is developing too slowly, giving up its position in the global IT market to other companies.
For several years, the topic of changing the company's CEO has been discussed. Of course, it's hard enough to get Steve fired, since he is on friendly terms with Bill, who is de facto, with a controlling stake, and is the board of directors of Microsoft's public company.
But with the number of employees, about 90,000 people apparently took the question seriously.
This is actually no news, everyone already knew that one day Steve would be looking for a replacement.
