Mercedes is testing a bunch of Google Glass and car electronics

What does the work of navigators look like at present? To get from point A to point B, it is necessary to score a route search at once in two systems - on a smartphone and in a car navigator, so that after reaching the parking lot, go further on the phone call. It is long and uncomfortable. The automaker Mercedes-Benz and Google Glass said that companies are testing the possible interaction of two navigation systems: mobile in the face of Google Glass and the built-in car.



A specially designed application, which so far does not even have a name, sends navigation data straight from the smartphone to the car. It is enough to request a route from the glasses, and the data will automatically go to the navigation system. In addition, nothing prevents displaying data on speed and route on the Google Glass display, switching the tracks of the car radio with voice, and most importantly, downloading car repair instructions into glasses showing tips on looking at individual mechanisms.
