Samsung released exFAT driver under GPLv2

The history of the leaked exFAT driver source for the Linux kernel unexpectedly received a logical conclusion. Since this driver was created on the basis of other developments in the opensource community, the license of which code requires the disclosure of the source codes of derived products, Samsung had no choice but to officially publish the open source exFAT driver. The question of the license purity of the use of this driver in commercial products remains open due to the fact that Microsoft has the appropriate patents.
