In the UK government, the usual secretaries will be exchanged for virtual ones.

British authorities are going to replace the part of the real secretaries with a virtual one. The system developers write that the image is “holographic”, but this is not the case; the standard technology of transferring pictures to a transparent screen is used. The first authority to receive a virtual secretary will be the City Council of London.

The secretary is a girl, but the image is not generated, but real, as a prototype for the virtual assistant served as British actress Shenis Stewart-Jones. The girl was asked to play the role of secretary, and the resulting "material" and entered to process and create a virtual secretary. It is logical that the computer assistant got the name of his prototype, Shenis.

Everything looks quite good: behind the usual reception desk, where the human secretary sits, a touchscreen display is equipped. The FAQ screen is displayed on the screen, and the visitor can select the item of interest simply by clicking on the question. According to the developers, for the time being, Shenis will be telling, basically, where what rooms / reception rooms are located. A little later, perhaps Shenis will have to expand the list of her duties.

The government hopes that this step will help save the budget, because some of the secretaries, people, with a positive test of the first "Shenis", can be replaced with images. Probably, the secretaries-people will not be very pleased, but what to do ...

And yes, the first virtual secretary began work today.
