Apparently, investors, who invested $ 50 million in Slide, were guided by such calculations of the size of the potential advertising audience. And, of course, they paid bonuses for the name of the founder.

According to comScore statistics for October 2007, the Slide widget platform ranks ninth in the Internet in terms of audience size, immediately after Amazon.com. Its audience is about 150 million people, an increase of almost two and a half times over the year.
