It’s definitely worth the wait, and it’s also worth visiting and checking more often - hasn’t anything new been added to this test page? So far, it is impossible to evaluate the stated ability to customize the Dashboard widget-style, i.e. connect third-party widgets and choose what and how to show on the start page, and indeed, so far the admin panel looks more like a “fish” that should be well processed with a file, tint with CSS here and here and add more AJAX interactivity, well and then “Wordpress will show it to everyone!”
