Google is going to open a research and development center in South Korea, the
Associated Press news agency reported .
Details of the initiative of the search giant are kept secret. Google Vice President Robert A. Eustace (Google A.) told the press that the company agreed to cooperate with the South Korean government, but did not disclose any details regarding the new institution.
Google's research centers are located in the UK, Israel, India, Norway, Russia, USA, Switzerland and Japan.
