Markus Persson, known as Notch, reported that he had stopped working on 0x10c.
“Nope, their are no future aspirations for 0x10c. My life. If you’re on the office. ”
According to Notch, he was not able to make significant progress in development, despite the fact that a lot of time was spent on the project. In the video on Twitch, he said that he was interested in working on small games, although he had not yet come up with names for them.
0x10s should have included a fully programmable computer on a spacecraft, with which players could write their own scripts for various purposes.
Perhaps a group of fans will be able to continue developing 0x10c, although it is not clear how they will gain access to the code already created by Notch. The Mojang team will continue to release updates for Minecraft and Scrolls. ')
