Lemming sculpture from DMA Design opened in Dundee (Scotland)
In 1991, DMA Design created perhaps the most enchanting creatures in the game world, known as Lemmings. No one then could have imagined that in the near future they would become legendary heroes. Considering that these classic creations come from the city of Dundee, the local council decided to perpetuate them in the form of a sculpture erected in the Seabraes area.
This sculpture of lemmings, located just a few hundred meters from the old building of the DMA design bureau, conveys all the charm of these creatures in their natural habitat in the game space. The sculptural composition consists of only three figures of lemmings in typical game situations and completely recreates the spirit of the game.
Since DMA (Doesn't Mean Anything) Design no longer exists in its original form (since 2002 the company was renamed Rockstar Games), this sculptural composition of lemmings takes on a symbolic meaning, perpetuating also the memory of this company, so important for cities in general.
