What you lacked in your laptop, or “pumping over” eeePC

In pursuit of cheapness of its laptop, Asus did not include many useful things in its composition. The national craftsman with the nickname IVC ( photo ) decided to rid him of this shortcoming, adding to it what, apparently, he lacked the most, namely:

• USB hub
• GPS module
• Bluetooth
• Card reader
• 8 GB memory card
• 4 GB Flash Winchester
• 802.11n
• Modem
• FM transmitter
• 2 GB of RAM

The cost of all the additional components cost him extra 454 dollars to the 399 that the laptop itself costs. You can try to repeat his feat by following the well-illustrated tweaking guide posted on the author's blog. The practical value of this action can be argued, but no doubt it will be a lot of fun.
