Yuri Zisser thinks about the rights of users of the Bynet
The Belarusian legislation regulating the Internet is largely imperfect, believes the chairman of the board of directors of the Tut.By portal, Yury Zisser, and suggests creating a public organization that will defend the rights of users of the Belarusian Internet and domestic online business.
In an interview with the Belarusian information company BelaPAN, Mr. Zisser said that the main problems of Bynet today are the high cost of Internet access (compared to other countries) and licensing, and besides, the public sector lacks the need for Internet advertising, is weak legislative base and high competition with global resources, including Russian ones. The head of the portal Tut.By is certain that some problems could have been easily avoided if the developers of regulatory acts worked more closely with people and organizations that are directly related to the development of the Belarusian Internet.
