The development of Ubi Interactive and Microsoft turns any surface into a touchscreen display.
Of course, for such a system you need a projector, a special application (developed by the combined efforts of Ubi Interactive and Microsoft) + Kinect (where can you go without it). This whole bundle allows you to turn any vertical surface into a touchscreen display, and a rather large one. Perhaps the only drawback of this system is the price of the application. There are three versions of the app, with a starting price of $ 149.
Needless to say, neither the projector nor the Kinect is included in this price. All this is purchased separately. So, the application versions differ, firstly, by the maximum diagonal of the projection “display”. Secondly, the number of possible touch points that can be recognized by the system. ')
The younger version of the application, costing $ 149, allows you to project a display with a maximum diagonal of 45 inches, and 1 touch point. The professional version, priced at 379 dollars, increases the diagonal to 100 inches, as well as the business version.
The difference between the second and third versions is the number of recognized touch points. It turns out, the professional version of the product works with only two points of contact. And the business version is able to recognize and work already with 20 points of contact.
And one more thing: the application works only on Windows 8.
