Termit Sprut Universal has the main function of a GSM gateway - the implementation of high-quality communication. It can work with pulse and tone dialing. Can be used for billing. It has an internal subscriber list for 300 users. May collect statistics on calls. It has the ability to adjust the sound volume and the system of echo suppression.

Customization

If you need to configure Termit Sprut Universal, connect the gateway to the computer via a USB cable and launch the configurator.







It is possible to configure:

1. Receive calls from the GSM network
2. Sending calls over a GSM network
3. Call forwarding from GSM to PSTN
4. Call forwarding from PSTN network to GSM network

For points 1 and 2, if you do not have any special wishes, you do not need to configure anything further. If such wishes arise, then go to the “Settings” menu, then the “GSM” menu and make settings for incoming calls via the GSM network.







In the GSM menu, we can: prohibit receiving calls, allow reception of calls only from those listed, allow a call for those who know the login password. CallBack options (callback when the gateway calls you back). Ways to respond to unlisted or undefined numbers.



In the FXS menu, outgoing calls are configured.







In this menu we can: bar any calls, allow any calls, allow only 1 number to call, allow calls to the numbers on the list; make calls with or without a password. Select Caller ID Signal Transmission Method (DTMF / FSK)

It is necessary to add the subscriber to the list and select the default FXO line.

In the GSM menu, select “Subscribers + Unsorted. route. via FXO ”and register the number for unknown numbers.











In our case, 09 is the prefix for entering the city.



Now if the subscriber from the list calls, he will be switched to the city line and will be able to dial any number he needs. If the subscriber does not call from the list, his call will be redirected via the PSTN network to the number we have registered.



For example: You have an unlimited or cheaper cellular operator tariff, an unlimited or cheaper city communication tariff and your personal number. You enter your number in the subscriber list, turn on the CallBack function for your number (in the gateway), for the CallBack mode in the GSM menu we set “Auto-connect”.



Now if you dial the number of the SIM card inserted in Sprut, it will automatically ring off the call and call you back, switch you to the FXO line and then you can dial any number and make a call.



Item 4 is similar to item 3 only works in the opposite direction. Go to the FXO menu and configure: redirection to 1 registered subscriber, to any subscriber from the list, to any number or ban on all numbers.







Sprut Universal also stores call statistics. By clicking on the “Call Base” tab you can see who, when, where you called using the gateway.







If desired, statistics can be exported to Excel.



Sprut Universal can be used as a GSM modem.

When installing software on a computer, the gateway can be used to send faxes or sms broadcasts.



In the advanced settings of FXS there is a “polarity reversal” function necessary for billing.







The “conference” function allows subscribers who are registered in the database to make calls to other numbers via the GSM network. To do this, after connecting with Sprut Universal, dial ## 12, then dial the number you would like to call and press #. Next you will hear a message from Sprut Universal. If you make a mistake while dialing a number, press * and repeat the dialing.



The function Black / White list allows you to create restrictions for subscribers from the base







Gateway supports USSD messages. For example, to check the balance of the card (BeeLine) inserted into Sprut Universal, you need to send an sms to the number of the Sprut SIM card with the text * 102 #. In response, the gateway will send a message from the operator.







The “Alarm” function allows you to make an alert when a sensor or loop is triggered.







By setting the channel settings for example “open”, when the circuit is broken, the gateway will send an sms-message about the trigger and dial the number assigned to the channel. This can be useful for monitoring the room (burglar / fire alarm) or alarm button. (To use this feature, you need the Alarm module and cable)
