Instead of an epigraphFor the first time, I’m probably frankly not sure which hubs should put this topic, and therefore I apologize in advance if my choice seems inappropriate to someone.
Recently, I often go to crowdfunding sites, with the aim of keeping my hand on the pulse of time. I usually limit myself to two:
Kickstarter and
Indiegogo . They, in principle, adequately represent the situation as a whole in the market, and I am not concerned with the search for something specific.
I want to talk about an interesting idea that I came across about the program
Y55: Happiness Trainer . As I understand it, the name comes from the phrase “why 55”, and there should be a universal answer to 55 million monthly queries to Google “how to become happy?”.
')
The application is created with the aim to offer users open access to scientifically-proven methods to improve everyone’s daily life in order to bring balance and happiness to it.
I will not retell the
presentation , but I will tell you about the details that I learned directly from the author Eran Shayovich.
$ 100,000?
“Why exactly one hundred thousand?” - the first question that interested me. The answer to it gives immediately a lot of food for thought, as for me, and the philistine interest also takes not the last place. The layout came out as follows: a professional development team will cost $ 5000 per week, development is expected to take 12 weeks or 3 months. The rest of the budget will be spent on developing the coolest interface (literally superior UI & UX design). Another 15 kilobaksov planned to spend on finishing under Android. Specifically, on this point, I had serious doubts about the reality of what was intended, but apparently, the developers themselves understand this, which was mentioned separately. For the creation and licking of content will be allocated another 15 thousand. And the balance will go to promote the product on the market.
Concepts
Since the concept of happiness is blurry, I wonder how the subject area will be represented in the product.
Presentation answers this question.
In short, the concept of “Happiness” was divided into several categories, which were called “Matrices of Happiness” (Matrices of the Happiness):
- Hope and Thinking (Hope & Vision) is responsible for optimism and mood for the future;
- Meaning describes the meaning of life and the meaning of actions;
- Gratitude is designed to answer the question "Are you grateful for the things that are happening in your life?";
- Connection and Collaboration (Connection & Collaboration) displays social activity and involvement;
- Self-fulfillment;
- Determination is responsible for self-discipline and motivation in achieving goals;
- Playfulness and Activity (Playfulness & Activism) shows how life seems to be a game for you;
- Physical exercise describes your physical activity;
The program will
evaluate the user for these categories and make for him an
individual plan . One of the key innovations will be the
use of the community , the so-called “Crowd Wisdom”.
Technical details
Initially, only one IPhone client will be created. IOS 6 and higher operating systems will be supported. The client will be written using Xcode and Objective C. As for me, a strange choice for the application, which plans should be ported to other platforms. I believe that HTML5 would be enough "for the eyes" ...
The server part will be implemented in PHP and MySQL. The fate of the open API is not yet known reliably, but according to rumors such an interface will be made.
Localization is only English. Additional are possible when overcoming the stated amount of the fee.
Project website
y55happy.comAnd finally, some interface sketches. I believe that it will look completely different. But, at least, we can assume the appearance of screens and transitions.
