Microsoft will spy on workers

Forget about spyware monitoring your computers, now they will be watching users too!
Microsoft is developing a Big Brother-style system that can remotely monitor employee performance and physical condition. The Times discovered a patent filed by a company for a computer system that connects workers with their computers through wireless sensors that measure metabolism. The system will allow managers to monitor employee performance by measuring their heartbeat, body temperature, body movements, facial expressions, and pressure. The unions said they were afraid that employees could be fired only on the basis of a computer assessment of their physical condition.
