Gauss machine gun - a real weapon for the boom (and not only)

On Habré, more than once and not two various designs of improvised rifles and Gauss pistols were described. What about a gauss machine? Moreover, the automatic with a fairly high initial speed of departure of the "bullet". Usually projects with “bullets” are shown, which barely reach the goal, and here a serious destructive force, the bullets pierce even the lid of the laptop.

This machine, called the CG-42, has a magazine (by itself) for 15 "cartridges." The cartridges, in fact, are not cartridges, they are simply pointed metal billets (half a nail without a cap). A full shop can be shot in 1.5 seconds. It all looks impressive, as the machine itself, and his work.

The initial speed of a bullet is slightly more than 40 meters per second (138 feet per second). This does not sound very serious, as long as you do not see the operation of the device in reality - and all this, as mentioned above, is impressive. In addition, the “Gauss machine gun” can be lengthened without any problems, and then the speed of flight of the nail-bullet will be even higher.
