The other day, on August 9, The Pirate Bay file sharing turned 10 years old. Their site, like many others, even more legal, is blocked by state censorship in many countries. TPB often appears in the lists of banned sites, so for their anniversary
they presented a new browser -
Pirate Browser , which allows you to bypass censorship, for example, in countries such as Iran, North Korea, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, etc. At the same time, surfing does not become anonymous: PirateBrowser is primarily aimed at providing access to all information and Internet sites to as many people around the world as possible.
The browser is a customized build of the
Tor client (Vidalia) and
FireFox Portable browser (with the
foxyproxy add-
on ).
While there is only a version for Windows, but versions for Mac and Linux are expected soon.

PS By the way, not so long ago, the US government
spent millions of dollars on a project that was supposed to help cope with government censorship of websites and cellular networks in different countries.
