On August 1, REG.RU launched an open beta test of its new service, Site Monitoring, which allows you to receive data on the health of key functions of the user's site. Testing will take place within a month and will be free for all REG.RU clients. In addition, upon completion of the beta test, an additional free period of work with the service will be available to all participants.

What is the "Monitoring of the site"?

The service is a monitor launch scheduler (site / server monitoring script), each of which monitors a specific process of an Internet resource, which allows the administrator to react in time to problems occurring in the site and promptly troubleshoot problems.
Monitor operation parameters can be set both manually and using ready-made templates.

The main functions of the service "Monitoring of the site"

• Check the availability of sites or servers, monitoring the expected responses;
• Check the presence or absence of a specific word or string on the page of the site;
• Check the availability of goods on the storefront of the online store;
• Checking the availability of articles, records or links on the site;
• Check the availability of a support service operator online;
• Distribution of alerts, alerts by e-mail and SMS;
• Storing statistics on monitored sites / servers and generating reports and graphs for the requested period;
• Tracking the presence of the company name on the first page of the search engine search for a specific search query.

What features are available during the beta test?

The beta functionality of the Site Monitoring feature is limited - the feedback received during testing will be used to “polish” the service. In the meantime, with the help of the service, it is possible to check the availability of sites and servers and monitor the operation of monitors directly in the Personal Cabinet on the REG.RU website. In addition, it is possible to view statistics for different time periods and settings for sending requests for monitors (from once per day to once per hour).
