According to a message from Jean-Baptiste Queru, head of AOSP (android open source project), the date of opening of Android 4.3 sources for the new Nexus 7 has not yet been announced. Afterwards, Kieru wrote a post on Google+, announcing that he was leaving AOSP team heads.
It seems the delay is due to Qualcomm, which does not allow the AOSP team to post the source for the Nexus 7, known as “Flo.” The problem is believed to be related to the Adreno graphics processors used in Qualcomm chipsets. Qualcomm does not want to allow third-party developers to the graphics processor. The statement of Jean-Baptista Kieru makes us wonder if the source code for the new Nexus7 will become public ?! Hopefully, the issues will be resolved, and that we will soon get access to the Android 4.3 source for the new Nexus 7.
It should be recalled that similar problems were with the source of the Nexus 4 at the end of 2012, but the source was open some time later.

There is no point in working in support of the operating system, which cannot be loaded on its flagship device due to the lack of support for the GPU, especially when I receive accusations for something that I do not allow, but I foresaw and warned half a year ago.
