Aquatop Display: ordinary bathroom as a touchscreen display? No problems

Many of us love to sit in the bathroom for a long time. This is especially true for owners of cool baths with hydromassage, media functions and other things. But still, even sitting in the most comfortable bathroom with the same tablet is not very comfortable. The Japanese decided to meet the lovers of water procedures, and proposed a pilot project that allows you to turn into virtually any container of water into a touchscreen display (optionally with voice acting and special effects).

Traditionally, it uses Kinect, a projector, as well as several additional functional units, including speakers and lighting. Of course, the speakers must be waterproof. In general, it turned out something that, in the future, will keep lovers soak in the warm water for hours. And the fact that the surface of the water in the bathroom can be turned into a touchscreen display is a trifle. With the help of the above-mentioned additional sites, all this can be turned into just an entertainment center.

Movies, photos, games - everything becomes possible. You can even manage your own PC from your own bathroom, there are no contraindications. But the games - what happened to the inventor from Tokyo, the best, I think.

So far this is a prototype, without any special plans to bring the project to the commercial market. But Aquatop Display has already been noticed, on many tech blogs and portals there is news about this new product. Probably, if not the author himself, then technology companies will take on the promotion of the idea on the commercial market.
