Of course, the acquisition of furniture or any of the more or less large interior elements is a problem. You need to go to the store, find what you like, and try to imagine how “this” will look in the room / house. Now there is an opportunity to do without going to the store, and without trying to imagine your house with new furniture. The fact is that some IKEA products can now be virtually placed anywhere in their apartment, using only an application, smartphone or tablet.

Unfortunately, not all IKEA products are suitable for virtual fitting, now there are only 90 different products in the world of augmented reality, including sofas, armchairs, tables and other objects. It is worth noting that the application that allows for a similar assessment, is available both for owners of Android-gadgets, and for owners of devices with iOS.

However, there is a slight difficulty - in order to use this service, you need an IKEA catalog. Perhaps this is not a problem at all for existing customers of the company, but for those who would like to test the technology in action, the need to purchase a paper catalog can be a real stumbling block. Nevertheless, the project is very interesting, I would like to hope that the list of products will expand, available for viewing in augmented reality, plus other manufacturers will join in with such an initiative.

It seems that in a couple of years all this will become commonplace, and we will be able to furnish our own rooms and houses without any problems. Things are easy - earn enough money to buy things you like :)
