First Embedded Meetup in St. Petersburg

On Thursday, September 12 , with the participation of the IT-Evestiya.rf portal , a new project will be launched in St. Petersburg - Embedded Meetup .



Embedded Meetup - this is a regular meeting of professional developers of embedded systems in an informal atmosphere. The main components are reports and networking.

Our first meeting will be held within the walls of the Faculty of Retraining SPbSPU Specialists ( FPS Polytech ) with a small team of 20-30 people. At the meeting we will listen to the reports, discuss them and discuss in one of the following topics:

Hardware platforms

• functional check of hardware platforms
• environmental and electromagnetic compatibility tests
• production: China or Russia?
• automatic inspection of products in production
• working with technical support for component suppliers
• modeling and prototyping

Software

• development on the Windows Mobile platform
• development on the Android platform
• development for several hardware platforms
• embedded operating systems
• designing highly reliable applications with a mode of 7 days a week, 24 hours a day

Requirements Management

• requirements management techniques in a product company
• practice prioritization requirements and bugs
• roles and methods of software development
