Video of the first lecture of the IT-workshop: Supercomputers. Internal architecture of enterprise level systems

We, Aichi-Event.rf , on July 31 held the First IT-workshop together with EMC Corporation . The lecturer was Sergey Pospelov, Head of the Mainframe in the ESD Enterprise Storage Division of EMC. Sergey talked about supercomputers and the internal architecture of enterprise-level systems.



As part of the 3-hour lecture, the architecture and components of 2x enterprise-level systems were examined in detail: IBM Mainframe and EMC Symmetrix.

An overview of the main solutions and innovative approaches aimed at maintaining the reliability and security of high-level systems was also presented.

More than 40 people attended the lecture. And not all of them were students and novice specialists. The topic of the lecture attracted the attention of specialists with impressive work experience, as well as teachers who wish to improve their professional level.

The lecture was held in the form of active communication with the audience: a lively and accessible presentation of the material by Sergey Pospelov, caused many questions from the audience.
