Scientists have managed to embed the chip in contact lenses

Not far off is the time when we will be able to constantly view our favorite web pages, which will be projected directly into our eyes.

And for this we will have to say thanks to the scientists from the University of Washington who managed to inject the microcircuit and the LEDs into the contact lens. Unfortunately, this device is at the earliest stage of development and scientists have not yet managed to get the LED to work, but they promised to do it in the near future. Also, researchers are working in parallel on the power source for the chip, and for this it is planned to use solar panels built directly into the lenses and the technology of transmitting electricity through the air.

Of course, it all sounds so fantastic that I can’t even believe it. I hope I will live to see the day when such lenses will be available to the mass consumer.
