BBC iPlayer: 250 thousand views per day
After the BBC launched a new version of iPlayer in December (let me remind you, the service allows you to watch TV for free on BBC TV channels for a limited time after the broadcast), 1 million Englishmen watched 3.5 million programs (250 thousand views per day) .
The ratio of online views (streaming) and download is 8: 1 (however, it should be noted that PC users can download programs and watch them online, and for Mac and Linux users only stiming is available).
Interestingly, about half of the views fall on non-top 50 programs. The most popular programs are Doctor Who Christmas Special, Top Gear (as I understand it!) And the festive edition of EastEnders.
