The Internet today is experiencing a Web 2.0 boom - RSS, tag clouds, “social features” (user accounts, avatars, friends, etc.) can be found on almost every other website.
It just so happens that we (
Versus company) are developing web services (I do not specifically want to use the word Web 2.0 in relation to our work, but there are all signs). Therefore, when the question arose of what to give the guys for the New Year, we decided to approach the decision outside the box.

So the idea:
1. We announce a competition among the team members for who is better (more original, more creative) will be able to describe their usual day. To make it easier - the day is divided by the hour and keywords are written for each hour (“minibus”, “coffee”, “php”, “scrum”, etc.)
2. The most original keywords are selected and a tag cloud is drawn from them, which is applied to the timeline.
3. Order ceramic mugs with this tag cloud, but for now they are made reward winners of the competition.
4. Before the New Year we arrange a mini-party in the office (champagne, tangerines, cake and hookah) and give these mugs (nicely packed).

As a result, with relatively small expenses for a gift and a party, we received smiles, happy eyes and a lot of positive emotions in the team.
