PGP programs have become friendlier

The new release of the cryptographic package PGP Encryption Platform 9.8-2.8 contains a number of updated components that improve the performance and functionality of the software package, as well as make the behavior of the entire system more convenient and user-friendly.

Three of the six programs PGP Encryption Platform reworked quite significantly (PGP Whole Disk Encryption, PGP NetShare and PGP Desktop Email), and the rest have undergone only a small optimization.

Improved "friendliness" of the system manifests itself in different ways. For example, PGP Whole Disk Encryption now allows you to download and install updates for the operating system and software without entering a password. So, the administrator can upgrade the software without asking the user for the secret password to his disk.

Encryption of individual files and folders PGP NetShare is now able to automatically change the status of the file (encrypted / opened), depending on the location of this file. If the user copies the file to a special folder, the file is automatically encrypted and remains protected all the time, although the user can edit and save it.
