Site Logo Animation

I read the book by Jeff Raskin "Interface" and I want to discuss the ideas that come during the reading.
The first idea about the animation on the sites.

Animation is needed for all elements that do something. The link changes color when hovering, and the photo, which can be enlarged by clicking, makes it known with an icon, background or text, in general animation.

Feedback
Animation helps to understand what can be clicked and what does not.
The logo of the site, always leads to the main page - this is all recognized, but who makes the animation to this gesture? But he is one of the most important. Users constantly click on the logo.
')
Scientific: When the user moves the cursor to the logo, the locus of attention is the logo, not the cursor. And as the user is given to understand: click and get home? The cursor changes its shape from arrow to hand. That is, only by changing the locus, we can understand that something has changed. People do not want to change the locus, and in any case it is worth the energy that the human body is trying to spend economically.
With close attention focused, all events outside the locus can be ignored or simply go unnoticed.

Animation should be directed to the logo. Let it move a little, change itself a little and let the user know: “Click, I can do something!”
