Sales of air tickets through the Internet are growing by 5% per week,
Aeroflot reports, summing up the first results of its online payment service. In September, tickets for more than $ 2 million were sold through the site, and half of them were paid by credit card online.
The company reports that this fall it plans to open an Internet service for foreign markets with the ability to work in ten languages and with prices in major world currencies. In addition, customers will be able to book and pay for related services (hotel reservations, car rental). The plans also include the creation of a special site for servicing corporate clients, and in the future, for travel agencies that are not professionally selling air travel.
